Punctuations Marks are the traffic signal of language.they tells us when to slow down, notice this, take a detour and Stop.

Punctuations Marks: Punctuation marks add which means to sentences and make them interesting.



Capital letter:

We start a sentence with a capital letter and end with a full stop.
The first letter of 
  • names of people, 
  • names of months and week days, 
  • names of cities, countries, 
  • name of monuments.

should be written with a capital letter.

Full Stop:

We begin a sentence with a capital letter and end with a full stop.
A full stop tells us that a sentence is complete.

Comma:

we use a comma after every item to separate them from each other.

Question mark:

A question mark is used at the end of a sentence, when a question is asked.

Exclamation mark:

The exclamation mark is used after interjections or sentences which express sudden excitement, emotion or wish.
